Mommy...my love, my life

Life surely changes for a girl when she gets married and that’s when she realizes and enriches a lot of her relationships which at different points of her life she took for granted; one of those being her relationship with her mother.

My mom is one woman I idolize forever. I would not categorize her as someone who is highly qualified, super business woman, or anything of those sorts but she surely is a “Super Woman”. She has been my pillar through my life journey so far and I know indeed that she would be there in all good times and bad times in the future as well.

I have seen her struggle all her life, but she truly is a rock solid woman. She is street smart and can handle her life so well that she indeed is an inspiration (don’t know if I can even be close to what she is). She is my first best friend I made in my life and she has taken different roles as and when I wanted her to be. She was this best friend who I share my deep secrets with; she has been my sister who I fought, cried and made up; she has been this brother – so protective; she has been my father who stood as a pillar through all the decisions I made in life; and a wonderful companion through this journey of life.

Words falling short; possible that I have not mentioned a lot of other beautiful details. (Maybe would share it in my upcoming blogs)

Last but not the least, all that I want to say is I am not sure if I was ever her best daughter she wanted but she surely is the best mom and I truly love her. I may not say this to her right on her face but I am sure she already knows that. I completely dedicate this blog to her.

Terror attack in Mumbai-Nov'08

South Mumbai's business district of Nariman Point seems to have turned into a war zone.

DO WE WANT TO SEE THIS? WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? WHERE ARE THE MINISTERS? WHY IS ONLY THE COMMON MAN AFFECTED?

We have lost 2 honest players who were saving our country...ATS ChiefHemant Karkare and Encounter Chief Vijay Salaskar...WHAT IS MUMBAI'sfuture after them?

Where is RAJ THACKERAY who loves his Maharashtra so much??

Hello, Mr. Raj Thackeray, cant you see this attack in Mumbai...yourmumbaikars are dying...or is it that Taj or Oberoi hotels are not owned by Maharashtrian.. that's y u don't care...but Mr. Thackeray...i m sure that among the staffs, there would have been atleast one Maharashtrian for sure...don't you think you should save them not thinking about just saving your own life...

Too many questions and no answers...

People who were honest and did a lot for the country...what did the country give them back....DEATH!!!

It is a shame to this whole system who is letting these terrorists overpower us and get their motives successful..

The status..MOTHER INDIA..is being behaved in the same fashion...our country is forgivin each time others hurt us..why...

We are so-called nice to others..and now wat..they hurt us in return...is this what we deserve for being good to the world...

Our govt. needs to wake up and work towards the security of the nation as well as teach a lesson to the culprits...

It is so depressing seeing this situation in Mumbai by terrorists...more depressing to know that our so-called ministers can just look and not do anything...

When will India be united, 61 years of independence and still no unity, are we really independent? Can we roam freely with the surety that we will return home safely? On top of that we have useless politicians who try to divide the nation, all this instability is the breeding ground of terrorists.

It brings tears to see my Mumbai in this state...I have lived here since my birth hurts to see it being prey to such heartless attacks!!! Words seem to just be short talkin bout this city...

Hope to see an end to these attacks soon (though i know for the fact that this is never going to end!!!)

OUR INDIA sorry to say...is getting handicapped day by day!!! ALAS!!!

Serial bomb blasts in Mumbai on July 13 2011 (Wednesday). Three bomb blasts were reported in Mumbai on Wednesday evening in the crowded Dadar, Opera House and Zaveri Bazar areas, police said.

Here are few of our favorite personalities commenting on this trauma..

• Manmohan Singh condemned the bombing, and called on Mumbai citizens to remain calm and show unity...

(wow…I mean really! We encounter this every once in a while…y get excited?? Unity…haha..practice wat u preach Mr. PM!)

• Rahul Gandhi was reported to have remarked that it was impossible to stop all the terror attacks. He said that 99 per cent of the terror attacks had been prevented in the country thanks to various measures, such as improved intelligence collection efforts. He added that "We work towards defeating it, but it is very difficult to stop all the attacks. Even the United States, they are being attacked in Afghanistan." 

(India ka dekh bhai…fir US ka baat kar…n aren’t u ashamed to say something like this when Mumbai is going thru this trauma)

• Aishwarya Rai : we are shocked, very disturbed 

(Do we care if she was shocked..?)

• Reacting to the Mumbai blasts, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray tonight said people should not rely on the government and protect themselves from such terror incidents. 

(Uncle…I doubt anybody relies on u as well…btw these blasts happened near Shiv Sena Bhavan rite??)

• Leaders from all political parties have condemned the serial blasts that rocked congested areas of Mumbai Wednesday evening, killing at least 20 people and injuring over 100. 

(temme something new!!)

• Raj Thackeray demanded a combing operation be carried out to flush out all those immigrants who were staying in the state illegally and said, "take help of military if needed". 

(Big talks huh dude...??)

• While people were battling for their lives, Shiv Sena workers played politics. Even as the survivors and their families wailed in agony, Sainiks indulged in sloganeering against the state government. 

(get off this publicity stunts!!)

Sick and tired of our sick political drama!!! We face the same situation time and again but stil our govt is unable to help our city avoid this..why? We go through this same pain yet again.. Yet another Wednesday!!

Hey World..

This is my first few stints to write a blog (not my first one). I had previously written a few of them which I will share it as part of my this blogger.

I have always had this urge to write since I was a kid and now finally I think I would use this forum to pen down my thoughts.

I owe my writing to all the people in my life who have directly or indirectly lead me to write and express whatever I feel. I am blessed with supportive and wonderful parents especially my mom who has been my bestest friend since I was a kid; my husband who has been a best friend, companion, everything possible and wonderful cousins and friends  (will name all of them in my forthcoming blogs) who have been there for me throughout my life – good times and bad times. I truly love all of them till eternity.

I am looking forward for their support and advice as and when I post my blogs.
